Maura Miranda

Maura is an alumna of the University of Maryland, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Media and Digital Communication with a minor in U.S. Latina/o/x Studies. She comes to AsylumWorks with a strong foundation in content creation, development, and management across diverse channels. Through experience at mission-driven organizations, where she focused on public policy, youth development, and community empowerment, Maura honed her skills and strengthened her commitment to human rights advocacy. Eager to explore the intersections between communications and social justice, including immigrant rights, she is excited to continue learning how to inspire and mobilize communities with the aim of world-building.
