Maura focuses on enhancing AsylumWorks’ visibility across platforms such as social media, websites, and newsletters. She is passionate about using communications to mobilize communities and advance social justice. Maura brings valuable experience from internships at organizations focused on education, public policy, and youth empowerment. During her recent internship, she developed a comprehensive media toolkit that promoted their inaugural STEM program. She holds a B.A. in Media and Digital Communication with a minor in U.S. Latina/o/x Studies from the University of Maryland and is fluent in Spanish.
