Kimberly is a licensed social worker who works closely with newcomers to help them navigate their new lives in the United States. Kimberly is passionate about immigrant rights and enjoys helping asylum seekers, refugees, and immigrants connect to resources in their communities. She is especially interested in the intersection of migration, culture, and mental health. Having worked with adults with developmental disabilities and children with behavioral health needs prior to joining AsylumWorks, she is committed to advocating for others and fostering client independence. She studied abroad in Hungary and loves to learn about different cultures. Kimberly holds an MSW from the University of Maryland School of Social Work. She is fluent in Spanish.
