For most asylum seekers, rebuilding a life with dignity and purpose begins with finding a job. AsylumWorks offers two job readiness training programs to help asylum seekers find and keep jobs that are safe, legal, and meaningful.

Path Forward helps asylum seekers find entry-level employment.

This program combines:

  • A two-day skill-building workshop emphasizing Know Your Rights training, networking techniques, and workplace role plays with staff and volunteer professionals
  • One-on-one job planning
  • Post-training follow-up meetings to assess progress
  • Introductions to employers

Reach Higher prepares asylum seekers for career re-entry.

This program combines:

  • A five-day skill-building workshop that offers one-on-one resume prep, interview practice, and workplace role-plays with staff and volunteer professionals
  • Tailored career planning
  • Informational interviews with professionals
  • Introductions to employers
