Ellen Arledge, LICSW

Director of Clinical Services

Ellen provides clinical supervision to staff, develops training schedules, and helps ensure compliance with grant requirements. She is interested in the intersection of culture, politics, and trauma and its impact on asylum seekers. Believing that knowledge empowers people to create personal change, Ellen seeks to help clients understand that their feelings are a normal and expected reaction to their traumatic experiences. Ellen is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and has worked in mental health throughout her career, specializing in Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Trauma-Informed services. In private practice, she worked with first responders, veterans, sexual abuse survivors, and others in managing trauma. Ellen conducted psychosocial assessments for asylum seekers and immigrants to support their applications for documentation and has testified in immigration hearings as an expert witness in PTSD. She received her MSW from The Catholic University of America.
