Senay Emmanuel

Senay attended Loyola Marymount University where he received his Bachelors in Political Science and International Relations. He comes from an environmental policy background having conducted climate change policy research and worked with environmental nonprofits. As the son of Eritrean and Ethiopian immigrants, Senay is passionate about advocating with and for refugees, asylum seekers, and immigrants. He has worked with organizations such as Refugees Welcome Bonn, Guadalupe Homeless Project, and conducted research on UN refugee camps in Africa. He speaks Amharic, Tigrinya, German, and Spanish.
