Deepika comes to AsylumWorks with over a decade of experience working in education. She started her career as a teacher and teacher trainer in her hometown – Mumbai, India. After completing her master’s at Georgetown University, she spent 7 years working with the World Bank at the intersection of gender and education policy in East Africa and South Asia. She is fluent in Hindi and Malayalam.
