Abby Guen

Development Officer

Abby comes to AsylumWorks with experience at think tanks and
nonprofits focused on international economic development, poverty
alleviation, and entrepreneurship. Most recently, Abby supported
projects working to strengthen democracy and economic resilience in
Latin America. She is passionate about building community
relationships and understanding the impact of political, economic and
social systems on human well-being. During her time at The George
Washington University, where she received a Bachelor’s Degree in
International Affairs with concentrations in Development and
Economics, Abby studied in Santiago, Chile and is fluent in Spanish.
